Role Overview

We are looking for a technically sharp, data-driven, and operationally rigorous individual to join our team as Technical Ad Operations Manager. This role owns publisher integrations and the daily ad operations that run across them. On the integrations side, you will lead technical onboarding for new publisher partners across Falcon’s shopify app, API integrations, and web/mobile SDKs. You will need to be comfortable working with browser network tools, reviewing database records, postback configurations and server logs. You should be confident in reading and debugging Javascript and HTML. We expect strong organization skills and proactive monitoring of integration health so that problems are caught before partners feel them. On the ad operations side, you will run the daily workflow of campaign trafficking, creative and banner QA, targeting and allocation configuration, and ongoing performance optimization across the network. You will analyze campaign and placement data to surface allocation, geo, and creative opportunities, run structured A/B and ranking experiments through our optimization infrastructure, investigate tracking discrepancies and delivery issues end-to-end with advertiser and publisher counterparts, and drive the changes that move performance week over week. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where technical depth, analytical rigor, and operational discipline are valued in equal measure.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years in ad operations, technical account management, solutions engineering, or a similarly technical client-facing role

  • Hands-on experience trafficking, configuring, and optimizing digital ad campaigns end-to-end, including creative QA, targeting, allocation, and performance monitoring

  • Comfortable reading and debugging HTML and JavaScript, and confident discussing API integrations, tracking pixels, and S2S postbacks

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work directly against large event-level datasets in Excel, a BI tool, or SQL

  • Experience running technical integrations with external partners, and working with partner engineering teams to ship on time

  • Excellent attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to execute high quality work within deadlines with little supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in adtech, commerce media, affiliate, or post-checkout monetization

  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Looker, Mode, or similar BI tools, including writing SQL

  • Familiarity with Shopify, Shopify apps, or the broader DTC e-commerce stack

  • Experience inside a campaign management platform such as EPOM, Google Ad Manager, or equivalent

  • Experience managing or mentoring a junior engineer, analyst, or operator

  • Familiarity with experimentation tools such as Statsig or similar
